Hello Players! Thanks so much for signing up for the Rollo Coaster!
This is the first event of its kind, maybe anywhere, so let’s have some fun with it! First things first let’s cover some general ground rules:
- Rollos Only! You can use any plastic you’d like, and carry as many as you’d like, but every single shot must be made with a Rollo.
- You will receive a DX Rollo and a Galactic Mini as your Players’ Pack.
- Flying Disc Pro Shop will be on site with Champion and Star plastic available.
- Please arrive approximately 15 minutes before your tee time.
- We’re starting out with 10 back-to-back cards so it will help to have everyone around a little early.
- You will need to get their players’ pack, get checked in to the UDisc event, and I recommend playing some catch or otherwise practicing throwing the disc so you know how it flies before you get stroked for OB.
- Basic PDGA Rules should be observed.
- Maintain placement at your proper lie (no foot faults, maintain balance within 33ft, etc.).
- If/when you end up OB, work with your card to identify where your disc was last in bounds. You may take 1m of relief in any direction from that point.
- If you’re close to OB, but IN bounds, you may take 1m of relief perpendicular to the OB line.
- Be courteous to all park goers.
- Non-disc golfers have the right of way everywhere, you must wait for the fairway to be fully clear before throwing.
- Between disc golfers the higher hole has the right of way, so defer to whoever is in front of you on the course.
- Portable Bathrooms will be available at Tournament Central, please make use of them prior to the round.
- It’s a bad look to have players urinating in the park.
- Avoid the construction area at all costs.
- You may not retrieve any disc from the construction area unless you are absolutely sure you can do so safely and quickly.
This event will be using UDisc for scoring and navigating. I have created a “Construction Layout” in UDisc which will be used for this event and the April Members’ Monthly the next day (basket and tee positions will change slightly day to day).
Here is an overview of the Construction Layout: Yellow marks parking areas, Blue marks Tournament Central.
Everyone’s registration fees included a $5 contribution to their division’s payout, which will be paid out across the top ~40% of scores in that division.
The table below MAY CHANGE, but if you all could do me a favor and not tie that’d be great.
