The Town of Penfield published this post today on their website.
This excerpt below is about the parking issue:
“As you might know, the Alpheus Clark House and the surrounding areas are currently under construction. We’ve received some questions about how this impacts Shadow Pines use, so I want to explain what our Parks team is doing to make sure you can still enjoy the property:
- Parking spots in a section of the south lot have been re-striped to assist with the new parking layout
- We’ll add overflow parking to the grass area just north of the main lot. We will begin using this area once the weather cooperates and will have painted parking spots on the grass
- We are looking at ways to install temporary trail and walkway connections”
I talked to Tim Masterton (town rep) yesterday. He marked where snow fencing will be used to make a parking lot. Another idea is to park at the pickle ball lot and play hole #3 first. It’s a simple walk back after hole #2, and the restrooms are available there too.
