Ellison Course Improvements

Hey everyone! Conor here, Course Administrator and former Steward of Ellison Park.

As you may have seen Ellison is in the midst of a complete course improvement project. Brand new baskets were installed in 2024 and in 2025 the tee pads and tee signage are also being upgraded.

Thanks to the DGA Replay program all 18 baskets at Ellison were replaced for FREE! The old baskets have been rehomed at local schools and we installed DGA Mach 7 baskets last season.

Tee pads are being improved as well, with some small adjustments made to tee locations on some holes. Rather than the decaying frames and rubber surface that was in place since the 2014 redesign, the pads are being rebuilt with 4×4 frames and a turf surface similar to Shadow Pines.

Tee Signage is being upgraded from the tall wooden posts to lower profile metal posts, and new signage is being purchased. Tee Sponsorships are available for most of the course, so if you know a business that might be interested please contact Erika (ma*******@di*********.com) with your lead info!

Please be patient with the progress being made at the course, almost all of the labor that goes into Ellison is done by volunteers so before you complain – offer to help out! We are doing our best to get these improvements made before the season is in full swing, but soggy conditions are even worse for course-work than they are for course-play so we may face some delays.
