Howell Road Park East Disc Golf Course is a newly developed course in Fairport, NY, currently undergoing community testing and town development. While still in the evaluation phase, the course has been open for special events and demo layouts as the community assesses its potential for a permanent installation. Some holes are expected to be installed as early as spring 2024.
Course Features
- Layouts: Multiple test layouts, including Long Test, Short Test, and Community Demo layouts.
- Terrain: A mix of open fairways and wooded sections, with ongoing clearing and improvements.
- Tee Areas: Grass tees.
- Baskets: MVP Black Hole Portal (currently only has random temporary baskets for testing purposes).
- Amenities: No drinking water or restrooms on-site at this time.
- Accessibility: Cart-friendly and dog-friendly, making it easy to navigate once fully developed.
Course Conditions & Updates
Currently only available for special events, with test layouts playable during select weekends. Ongoing work includes trimming, dead tree removal, and fairway improvements.
