The GRDGC is transitioning in 2025. We are a new brand this year, now known as Disc Golf ROC. We are a whole new board, and there are lots of improvements coming your way. But what most people don’t know is how much volunteering personal time and other sacrifices go into helping this community’s enjoyment.
For this reason, our website will now feature the MEMBER SPOTLIGHT on the home page.
It is our honor to make Adam Brennan the very first Spotlight Member for his prior role in administering the club’s former website, grdgc.org. Long before I came along (John Kelly—new web guy), Adam advised on and built the website for the GRDGC. Aside from maintaining the technical side of hosting, domain renewals, email setups, troubleshooting, and software updates, Adam also directed content onto the website for years.
If you’ve never worked with websites before, it can be a daunting, seemingly never-ending, and thankless responsibility. When I threw my name into the hat to handle the new website, I didn’t do it lightly. I know what goes into this. When I approached Adam, he seemed a little hesitant at first. To me, that was a clear sign of devotion. I respected that.
Adam went on and assisted me without hesitation in transitioning this new website into the next era, and to you, Adam, your appreciation is not unnoticed. Thank you for all of your service and support to this community.
